What Vila Franca do Campo does best
Vila Franca do Campo is the south-coast town between Lagoa and Povoação, once the seat of the island. AzoresBus prints a Terminal stop in the town, served by the Ponta Delgada line along the coast, the local line to Ponta Garça and the night line, so it is one of the easier towns to reach and to return from.

The centre is compact and walkable from the terminal, with the queijadas bakeries the town is known for.
