Choose two places on São Miguel. The answer lists the AzoresBus lines whose printed stop sequence carries you from one to the other and links each line’s own page, where the printed columns and the edition date are. No departure times here: they belong on the line page, beside their source.

    • Ponta Delgada to Sete Cidades

      Scheduled service

All three crater lines end at the Lagoas stop in the village; Vista do Rei, the viewpoint on the rim, has no printed stop on any of them.

    • Ponta Delgada to Furnas

      Scheduled service

Two long lines reach the valley from opposite coasts and stop at different places in it: one for the hot springs at the eastern end, one for the lake and the Terra Nostra gate.

    • Ponta Delgada to Ribeira Grande

      Scheduled service

A short cross-island ride to the north-coast terminal, which is the change point for Maia, Nordeste and the Furnas line along the north coast.

    • Ponta Delgada to Nordeste

      Scheduled service

The longest bus ride on the island, on the stopping line along the whole north coast or the weekday express with a handful of stops.

    • The airport to Ponta Delgada

      No bus stop here

Ponta Delgada Airport (João Paulo II) to Ponta Delgada

No AzoresBus line prints a stop at the terminal. An AeroBus airport shuttle was reported in 2019, but this site could not confirm on 14 October 2026 that it still runs; the "Antiga Aerogare" stops are the former terminal inside the city.

    • Ponta Delgada to Vila Franca do Campo

      Scheduled service

The south-coast line and the night line both print the terminal in the town, which makes it one of the easier places to reach and to return from.
