What Faial da Terra does best

Faial da Terra is a small village in a steep valley on the south-east coast. It is the start of the walk to the Salto do Prego waterfall, and the Água Retorta line from Povoação and the Nordeste – Povoação line print stops here.

The waterfall trail starts in the village and climbs through the abandoned hamlet of Sanguinho.
