What João Bom does best

João Bom is a parish in the north-west of the island, on the far side of the Sete Cidades crater from Ponta Delgada. Two lines from the city end here, a third starts here, and the Sete Cidades line via João Bom passes through on its long loop.

The back road to the crater

From João Bom the Sete Cidades line climbs into the caldera from the north.
